Silver brazing alloys helps in joining non-ferrous filler metals. The professional would heat the alloy to a very high temperature, above the melting point, and then distributes the metal between two or more close-fitting parts by capillary attraction. The molten form of metal interacts with the base metal and cools down, creating a strong and sealed joint.
